The Molinetto della Croda (Little mill on the rock) is an old water mill over the creek Lierza, near the waterfall few kilometers from the village of Refrontolo, in the Prosecco DOCG area of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene.
It is a must-go place, expecially in autumn, if you are touring in the Feletto hills.

You can visit the interiors of the buildings, the typical millstone and the various floors of the house used to host the families of the workers. It is now a museum that is used for hosting exhibitions of arts and paintings.
Mainy painters use to go there and take inspirations for their paintings.

The place has also inspired the movie director Marco Vicario in 1977 for his movie Moglieamante: the famous actor Marcello Mastroianni (you surely remember him in Fellini’s La dolce vita) played his character just here.
The mill is dated XVI century.

After visiting the mill, you should not miss the Osteria Brun and the villages of Rolle and Arfanta.
